The Raja Dinkar Kelkar Museum, located in the heart of Pune is a collection of artefacts  that speak of everyday life in India.  The collection, started by Padmashree Late Dr. D.G. Kelkar (1896-1990) is dedicated to the memory of his only son, Raja, who died an untimely and tragic death.

India Adventure Curry has a specially designed tour around this fascinating museum with our own guides who will share interesting information with you as you browse through the many collections which include writing implements, musical instruments, paintings, terracotta, coins, lamps, etc.

Currently managed by the 3rd generation, on special occasions, the Kelkar family open up their wada (ancestral residence) and share their knowledge and enthusiasm for the fascinating collection of artifacts, over a cup of tea and some traditional Maharashtrian snacks!
